Transport and the environment
Most vehicles are powered by engines burning petrol or diesel fuel. This burning process causes soot, carbon dioxide and other gases to be released into the environment through vehicle exhaust pipes.

Vehicles need roads and building roads is very bad for the environment. Too many vehicles can cause traffic jams and these delays mean that more pollution is created. |
